Privacy policy

The short version: we collect very little, we never sell it, and there are no ads on ToolVerdict.

Effective October 19, 2026

Who we are

If you sign up, we use your email address only to send the ToolVerdict newsletter.
Double opt-in. We first send a confirmation link. You are added to the list only after you click it. If you don't, you're never added, and the link expires after 48 hours.
Emails are sent through Resend, which stores the list of confirmed subscribers for us.
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. You can leave any time.

Analytics and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
Since October 19, 2026, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Cloudflare says it is privacy-first: it uses no cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint or track you across sites.
ToolVerdict itself sets no cookies.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links, and each one is labeled "Affiliate link". If you click one, the partner's site may set its own cookies so it can credit us for the referral. That site's privacy policy applies there. How our affiliate links work.

What we don't do

No ads and no ad trackers.
We never sell or rent your personal data.
